Funeral services for August Buehler, aged 67, a lifelong resident of the Barrington, Illinois community, were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral chapel at 149 West Main Street with Rev. George Ellerbrake,pastor of St. Paul Churck officiating. Burial was in St. Paul Cemetery.
Mr. Buehler died Friday night at the Lake Cuonty General Hospital, Waukegan, following a lingering illness. He was hospitalized two and a half months.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. John Ahlgrim; a half sister, Mrs. Dora Schumacher and a half brother, Garrett Kamlager, all of Barrington.
Born on a farm in Cuba Township April 20, 1878, Buehler was the son of Mrs. and Mrs. George Buehler. For the past three years he lived and worked in Antioch.
NOTE: August and Mary Schwemm were divorced in 1934.
