Clair Z. Burlew, 93, of Tuscola, formerly of Rantoul, died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 24, 2006) at Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola.
He was born Dec. 18, 1912 in LaFayette, a son of Guy and Ruth Jackson Burlew. He married Ruth Hatch on June 8, 1940, in Keokuk, Iowa. She survives. He was preceded in death by four sisters.
Survivors also include a son, Jeff Burlew of Villa Grove; a daughter, Claire Isom of Belleville; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
