William Price Haddock Jr., age 66, of Austin, Texas, formerly of Florence, passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at Corner Stone Hospital. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Carey Collum officiating. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Mr. Haddock was a native of Lauderdale County, graduate of Central High School in 1958, member of UAW Local and was retired from Ford Motor Co. He was preceded in death by his father, William Price Haddock Sr., and mother, Maggie Mozella Haddock. Survivors include daughters, Judy Russell, of Florence, Jennifer Hood, of Russellville; sons, William Price Haddock III, of Florence, Terry Wayne Haddock, of Texas; mother of his children, Peggy Haddock, of Florence; sisters, Lynda Faye Mitchell, of Florence, Shirley Jane Heupel, of Florence; brother, Jerry Mack Haddock, of Florence; eight grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence, is directing.
