In Arizona she met and married Harry Foster. To that union, two children were born.
Some years later, she moved to the Los Angeles area where she lived for the remainder of her life.
In 1952, she married Charles Hamilton and they lived a happy life together for 47 years until his death in 1999. During that time, she unselfishly cared for her mother, Essie, through illness until her death 1982. She also lovingly mothered her first grandchild from infancy to adulthood.
She was proceeded in death by her beloved daughter, Joann, and is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many friends and acquaintances.
She will be loved and missed by all.
