Mr. Lavon Pagett, died December 16, 2010. He was the son of the late Leo and Zelma Lockhart Pagett in Pennington, NM. He graduated from Clayton High School and married Mary Williams on April 14, 1973 in Amarillo. He worked for Atmos Energy, retiring after 44 years of service. Lavon was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and will be remembered as an outstanding father and grandfather.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Mary; four children, Larry Pagett, Greg Pagett and wife Brandy, Keith Pagett, and Kathy Gibbs; two step-daughters, Tami Robertson and husband Duane and Terri Gray; seventeen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one on the way; three brothers, Victor Pagett, Jack Pagett and Ronnie Pagett and a brother-in-law, Carl Banks.
A sister, Wallene Banks also preceded Lavon in death.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 18, 2010, at the Aldersgate Methodist Chuch, in Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Paggett was laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
