Reuben Reynolds Finch, Sr. and Reuben Reynolds Finch, Jr. were famous 19th century inventors and manufacturers of stoves. Finch senior was founder of "R. R. Finch & Sons", later the "Union Stove Works", possessing a foundry and manufactory in Peekskill during the mid 19th Century. They applied for many patents. Here is the text of one in 1852 for a Dining Room Stove.
