COOKEVILLE - Funeral services for Pervis Allen Pearson, 89, of Cookeville will be held at 2 p.m. today from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Pearson died Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, at her home.
She was born January 21, 1916, in Putnam County to the late Henry and Rena Wilmoth Allen. Mrs. Pearson was a seamstress with Cookeville Shirt Co. She was a member of Jere Whitson Church of Christ.
Her family includes a brother and sister-in-law, Cecil C. and Bessie Mai Allen of Cookeville; a niece, Ann Fraser of Cookeville; and two nephews, William Allen and Jerry Phifer, both of Cookeville.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Pearson; four sisters, Novella Flatt, Claricie Gaw, Rosalee Bailey and Margie Phifer; and two brothers, Mitchell and Virgil Allen.
Bro. Ed Todd will officiate the services.
