San Diego Union, The (CA) - May 13, 1984

Deceased Name: Helen Maudlin

Helen Maudlin, 49, a San Diego resident for 44 years who was well-known in craft and art circles and was an auditor with the Bank of America for 17 years, died May 9 in a hospital.
She was born in Little Rock, Ark., and came to San Diego with her family as a child.
She worked for Bank of America until shortly before her death. Mrs. Maudlin engaged in art and craft work both professionally and as a hobby, and was especially well-known for her silk flower creations. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert; two sons, Gilbert S. and David of San Diego; a daughter, Linda Claxton of San Diego; two grandchildren; and two brothers and a sister, Alvin Goessman of Lakeside, Joseph Goessman of Apple Valley and Jean Latini of Northville, Mich.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow in El Camino Memorial Park.
