Kenneth Hampton Neville, 93, passed away November 24, 2010, at Good Samaritan Society of Lodi. He was born March 6, 1917, in Detroit, Michigan to of Elliot and Geneva (Junk) Neville. He married Marion Dannen June 26, 1940. He grew up on a farm in Adair County, Iowa and graduated from Stuart High School in 1934. He attended Central College, Pella, Iowa, and was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Air Corp in World War II. He retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserves as a Major. He worked as a sales representative for New Holland, a major manufacturer of farm machinery, for 30 years. After retirement, he stayed active, working part-time for Hanley Co. in Sun Prairie, Wisc. for more than 10 years. He was active in the Masons for many years. He was known as a good speaker and was often asked to perform the rituals at Masonic officer installation and other ceremonies. He was Past Worshipful Master and Life member of St. Marks Masonic Lodge No. 63, Woodstock, and Past Worthy Patron, Order of the Eastern Star, Woodstock. He was an active member of Christian Faith Moravian Church, DeForest, Wisc. In his spare time, he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed many fishing trips to northern Minnesota, Canada and to Lake Michigan salmon fishing. Survivors include his wife of 70 years; his two sons; five grandchildren; a step-grandson; seven great-grandchildren; a brother; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Thomas; a daughter, Karen; and a brother, Thomas. Burial at McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.
