Lewis F. Johnson passed away at 12:25 this morning at his home in Stockwell, his death resulting from pneumonia. Had he lived until next February he would have been 78 years old. Mr. Johnson was a farmer by occupation and was one of the oldest and best known citizens of Lauramie township. He was a member of the Methodist church and was a man of splendid character. He was honest and upright and was an honored and useful citizen. A widow and the following sons survive: Abner and Joseph Johnson, of Clarks Hill; John Johnson, of Colfax; Frederick Johnson, of Oxford; Charles and Omer Johnson, of Stockwell.
