Royce Campbell, 75, of San Saba, TX passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Brownwood Regional Hospital.

Royce was born on June 18, 1935 in Cass County, TX to Rufus Edgar Campbell and Annie Livingston Campbell.

Before her passing on March 12, 1999, Joyce Sutton Campbell and Royce enjoyed forty-three years of marriage. On July 29, 2000, Royce Campbell and Zelda Smiith were united in marriage in Midland, TX.

Royce was a dedicated deacon and greeter at the Parkview Baptist Church. He loved his church family as well as his other family and friends. Some of his many interests included playing "42", going to senior dances, going on trail rides, and hunting hogs. Royce was known as the "Hog Hunter" of San Saba County.

Royce is survived by, his wife, Zelda Campbell of San Saba, TX, his daughters, Teresa Lynn Campbell Harrison and her husband Neal of Midland, TX, Joanna Lynn Kiker and her husband Jan of Midland, TX, Janet Leigh Hemmingson and her husband Fred of Midland, TX, and Joy Lorene Giese and her companion J.D. of Russellville, AR, his son, Thomas Glenn Stovall and Renee of Russellville, AR, his grandchildren, Amber, Joe, Crissie, Sonny, Lacie, Amy, Daniel, Brayden, Jeremiah, Joseph, Cody, Ryan and Kimberly, his several great-grandchildren, his brothers, R.E. Campbell and his wife Onieta of Marshall, TX, Guy Richard Campbell and his wife Millie of East Dubuque, IL, his sisters, Vinnie Hanson and her husband Jerry of San Saba, TX and Ida Fay Weaver and her husband Buddy of Wills Point, TX and several nieces and nephews.

Royce was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, one daughter, and two sons.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Parkview Baptist Church with Rev Curtis Chandler and Rev Eddy Elliott officiating Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Howell Doran Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorials go to the Parkview Baptist Church, PO Box 186 San Saba, TX 76877.
