The funeral for Ethel Y. Davis of Atlanta, a homemaker, was today at H.M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill, with entombment at Westview Abbey.
Mrs. Davis, 81, died July 23 at DeKalb Medical Center.
As past president of Pan Hellenic of Atlanta, she helped institute a pilot program for music therapy for cerebral palsy patients.
She was on the advisory board of the Medical Association of Atlanta, of which she had been a member for more than 60 years. She served as president of its auxiliary in 1948-49. She was also a past president of the Health Council of Georgia.
Surviving are two children, Anne Davis Sewell of Bremen and Dr. S. Carter Davis of Atlanta; a sibling, Mabel Y. Grady of Miami; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
