"Following an illness of nine months, Cyril J. Stauder, 66, of 325 North Church
Street, died at 3:50 a.m. today at St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he was admitted at 1:03
a.m. Sunday. Mr. Stauder was an employe of the Mueller Furniture Company for the past 27
years.
"A son of the late Julius and Mary Stauder, nee Minor, he was born in Granite City
on January 15, 1899. He married Olivia Haubrich in Belleville on June 25, 1923.
"Besides his wife he is survived by a son Richard J. Stauder, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a
daughter, Ethelmae, wife of Wilbert Boeving, 207 East D. Stree; a brother, Joseph
Stauder, Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Mrs. Cordelia Juen, Smithon and nine grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
"Mr. Stauder was a member of Holy Name Society of St. Luke Church, Belleville
Council 1028, Knights of Columbus and Teamsters Union Local 50.
"The funeral will be held at 8:45 a.m. Thursday from the George Renner and Sons
Funeral HOme to St. Luke Church for a requiem Mass at 9 o'clock, Msgr. F.A. Kaiser,
pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Green Mount Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call
at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday. The rosary will be recited at the funerl home
at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday."
