Paul R. Malicoat, 91, Alexandria, died Dec. 4, 2010 at his residence after an extended illness. Paul was born in Alexandria on Aug. 25, 1919. He married Evelyn Phillips June 23, 1941. He retired from Delco Remy-Anderson Skilled Trades Dept. in 1985. Paul was a member of the Eagles Lodge Aries 1771 and VFW Post 1552, both of Alexandria. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; sons, Terry Malicoat of Alexandria, Charles Malicoat of Port Charlotte, Fla. and Michael (Pam) Malicoat of Marinette, Wis. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
