Virginia L. (Musselman) Ritchey-Leighty, age 83, of Duncansville, died Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Presbyterian Village, Hollidaysburg. Born April 4, 1927 in Khlar, a daughter of the late Thaddeus and Maggie (Musselman) Musselman. She first married Simon Ritchey. He preceded her in death in 1957. She then married William E. Leighty in 1994.

Survived by her husband; 2 sisters: Marie Ritchey of New Paris and Grace Fultz of Altoona; a step-daughter Melinda Ritchey of Duncansville; a grand-daughter Sara Ritchey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Ralph and Clair and 3 sisters: Molly, Flora Claar and Fannie Dugan.

She was a 1945 graduate of Claysburg High School. She retired from Loungeray Sportswear, Hollidaysburg. She was a member of Duncansville Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 from 2pm until the 4pm services at Liebegott-Brown Funeral Home, 1218 4th Ave., Duncansville.
