Sidney Ella Bradley was born near Purdy, February 7, 1874, and passed away at the Barry Co. Hospital Jan. 9, 1944, at the age of 69 years, 11 months, and 2 days.
She was converted at an early age and united with the New Salem Church and later moved her membership to Mt. Pleasant Church where she retained it until her death.
On Oct. 16, 1898 she was united in marriage to Columbus Eden. To this union was born six children, five daughters, and one son. They are: Mrs. Lucille Stark of Pioneer; Mrs Doris Whitney and Mrs. Lela Hayes of Pueblo. Colo.; Mrs. Erple Bryan of El Monte, Calif.; Mrs. Vivian Case of Perryton, Texas; and Elwin Eden of Downey, Calif.
She is also survived by three sisters: Mrs Nancy J. Chastain of Purdy; Mrs Cora Todd of Pineville, and Mrs. Dica Bateman of Cassville. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, six childen, eight grandchildren, three sisters and a host of relatives.
Funeral services were held Wed. afternoon at the Mt. Pleasant church southwest of Purdy conducted the Rev. Sherman Erickson. Burial was in the church cemetery.
