Minnie, the beloved daughter of Mrs. Laura McConnell, passed from this life into the life eternal, Aug. 8th, at the family home in Greenfield, leaving, besides her mother and brother and his wife, a host of loving friends. She was loved by all who knew her, and most especially by the children to whom she was devoted. Although handicapped by an affliction which from early childhood prevented walking, she developed a beautiful nobility of character and will be remembered always for her purity of life, her kindly thoughtfulness, industry and helpfulness.
Verily it may be said of her, "She hath done what she could."
She was born at Dadeville, Dec 29th, 1880, and being at the time of her death, 33 years, seven months, and 10 days old.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at Ebenezer Church, being conducted by Rev. W. R. Russell of Everton, and the remains thereafter were interred in the city cemetery.
