Robert Christopher Dyer, 70, pioneer rancher of Madera county, died at 4:45 this morning in a Madera hospital following a protracted illness. The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday after noon from the Jay chapel. f Rev. S. B. Cooper will conduct the services, Burial will be in Arbor Vitae cemetery.
The deceased, a native of Tennessee, had lived 40 years in Madera county and 45 years in the state. He is survived by three sons, Bonner, Jack and Dayton Dyer, all of Fresno; two daughters, Jessie and Dorothy Dyer of Fresno; four brothers, J. A. of Madera, W. H. of San Diego, J. C. of Salina, and J. P. Dyer of Texas, and one sister, Mrs. Martha Jane of Tennessee,
