Edward Charles Stannard, age 88, Springville resident, died Saturday night at his home.
Mr. Stannard was born in Springville on June 30, 1852, the son of Edward M. and Mary Jane (Helmer) Stannard. In 1879, he married May B. Johnson, who died in 1919.
Surviving are one son, J. H. Stannard; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Carson, Miss Delight G. Stannard; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Springville Methodist Cemetery.
