The Choteau Acantha (MT), 8 Oct 1908
Prominent Citizen Dead
Frank F. Daacke, the well known resident of the Burton bench, died Oct. 2, in Minneapolis after an operation for an affection of the bone of the jaw. Erysipelas set in after the operation and was the immediate cause of his death. He left his home about three weeks ago for Rochester, Minn., where he intended to be operated upon, but finding the surgeons were away on their vacations, he proceeded to Minneapolis. The operation seemed to be successful and he got along nicely for a few days after.
He leaves a wife and four children.
Mr. Daacke was born in Cassville, Wis., Aug. 28, 1868. He came to Montana some 15 years ago and was married at Farmington in 1895 to Miss Marie Austad, who survives him. He accumulated considerable property and was universally respected as an upright citizen.
