Eddie Allensworth
HUGO, Okla. - Eddie Allensworth, 79, of Fort Towson, died Thursday, April 23.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at the Sobol Cemetery. Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Mr. Allensworth was born April 9, 1913, in De Queen, Ark., a son of Frank and Nellie Hodley Allensworth. He married Danness Cooper March 12, 1941, in Choctaw County. He was a member of the Holiness Church in Sobol and was a farmer.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Donald and Jeff Allensworth, both of Fort Towson and Sherman Allensworth of Wright City, Okla.; one daughter, Elmeeta Mullins of Ringold, Okla.; a brother, Elmer Allensworth of Fort Towson; three sisters, Bessie Martin of New Castle, Okla., Mary Carper of Salida, Calif. and Juanita Barker of Fort Towson; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dane Allensworth.
