Services for Mary Lou Camp, 52, rural St.Charles, who died Sept. 30, 1983 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Monday, Oct. 3 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winterset with the Rev. Maurice Schulte officiating. Burial was at the Union Chapel Cemetery.

Born in Warren County May 4, 1931, she was the daughter of George and Leona Sporrer Simpson. She had lived in the St. Charles area for 23 years and a member of St. Joseph's.

She was married to Robert Camp on Aug. 19, 1960 in Bethany, Mo., and had worked at the Bethesda Care Center and Care Center South for several years.

Survivors include her husband; her mother of Story City; sons, Bill of Winterset, Rick of Mannford, Okla., and Tim of St. Charles; daughters, Jayne Maxwell of Winterset and Kimberly and Karin of St. Charles; sister, Betty Kranz of Mason City, Doris Frueh of St. Marys and Judy Helmers of Story City; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and a son.
