Mrs. Yvonne White, 83, of Oxford, formerly of Blountsville, AL, passed away at her residence on Mar. 5, 2010. Mrs White was from Mississippi, born to Lonnie Dobson and Bessie Cargo Dobson Davis. Mrs. White was retired from Ryders Manufacturing Company. She lived in Blountsville until her health began to fail her, then she moved to Oxford with her daughter.
Mrs. White was preceded by her husband, L.H. White, Jr., parents, Lonnie and Bessie Cargo Dobson; half brother, Ray Davis.
Mrs. White is survived by her son, Larry White (Frances); daughters, Linda Siles (Carl), Paulette Reed (John) and Vickie Harkins; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. White will be on March 8, 2010 from the chapel of the Blountsville Funeral Home with burial in New Lebanon Cemetery.Chaplain Jeff Stewart will officiate with Blountsville Funeral Home directing.
