His wife died Monday last at noon. She was buried on Thursday. At that time Mr. Holsinger was in a critical condition and it was known that the end was near. Mr. Holsinger had lived at Duffield since 1878, where he was successfully engaged in the implement business. His entire life had been spent in the neighborhood.
Mr. Holsinger was born June 30, 1840. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William L. Thompson, with whom he made his home, and three grandchildren: J. H. Thompson, Poplar Grove, Ill.; C. F. Thompson at home, and Miss Mary, at home; also by these brothers and one sister, Samuel, of Tiffin, Ohio; Jacob L., Rocky Spring; John and Mrs. Hiram George, Guilford. He was a member of the Old Order German Baptist Church.
