Mrs. Johnson, wife of Lake Wales Founder, Dies

Mrs. Eliza Belle Riggins Johnson, 66, wife of a central Florida pioneer, died here Monday after a prolonged illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday.
She came to Lake Wales in 1912 with her husband, C. L. Johnson, one of the founders of the community, and lived continuously at the Johnson home on Crystal Lake. Mrs. Johnson was active in church and charitable work.
