Waneta M. Bensyl, 83, of Monticello died at 9:55 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 9, 2010) at the Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello.
She was born Aug. 23, 1927 in Cisco, the daughter of Virgil and Louise Adams Glenn. She married Donald Wade Bensyl on Oct. 9, 1945 in Morganfield, Ky. He died June 6, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Virgil Lee Bensyl; sister, Helen Nelson and brother, Charles Glenn.
Survivors include her stepson, John (Betty) Bensyl of Penfield; daughter-in-law, Janice Bensyl of Monticello; grandson, Rodney Bensyl of Bloomington and sister, Delta Chitwood of Monticello.
