Hugh resided at 70 West Mary Street, Galesburg, and was an employee of Knox Laundry. He died unexpectedly while visiting his sister, Mrs. Rena Hedges of Toulon.
Surviving are the wife; a son, Lyman Curtis McKeown of Galesburg; a stepson, Frank Rice of St. Augustine; two brothers, the Rev. Samuel McKeown of Lincoln, Neb., and Marshall McKeown of Burlington; four sisters, Mrs. Ann Pendarvis of Oak Park, Mrs. Rena Hedges of Toulon, Mrs. Lizzie Jones and Mrs. Peggy Knutstrom, both of Stronghurst.
