Mrs. Russ lived at 4437 Amherst. She came to Texas from Georgia when she was a child. She taught in Houston public schools for several years before coming to Dallas with her husband. She had lived here for 20 years and was a member of the charity chapter of St. Matthews Cathedral.
Survived by her husband, Fred C. Russ; mother, Mrs. J. L. Hardin, Houston; and three brothers.
