A.O. "Andy" Beaton, 83, Roeland Park, KS, passed away Thursday, March 13, 1997, at Bethany Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 17, at McGilley & Hoge Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 16, at the chapel.

Mr. Beaton was born September 6, 1913, in Kansas City, MO. He was the son of Andrew Beaton and Mary Dulcie McKenzie. Andy retired in 1973 as a flight engineer for 41 years with Trans World Airlines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Faye Beaton , and two sisters, Mary K. Ritch and Margaret A. Bedsworth.

Survivors include his nephew, W.A. Evans, Jr.; three great-nephews, Andy Evans, Larry Evans and Bill Evans; three great-great-nephews, Jason Evans, Kyle Evans and Nicholas Evans; four great-great-nieces, Erin Evans, Shannon Evans, Kerry Evans and Schona Evans. He also leaves a special friend and caregiver, Eleanor M. Goodman.
