MISS BOHNER BRIDE OF AARON KEIFER

Saturday evening at 8:i30, a quiet wedding was held in the home of the bridegroom when Aaron Alvin Kiefer married Miss Laura M. Bohner, daughter of Daniel and Ellen Bohner of Pillow, Pa. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. M. S. Mumma, pastor of the St. John's Evangelical Church, Hegins, Pa.
The bride was attractively gowned in blue trimmed in silver. Miss Louella Bohner of Pillow was bridesmaid and Ray Kiefer of Hegins was best man. Charles Kieffer also was present. Their many friends extend congratulations and wish them happy journey thru life.

AARON ALVIN KIEFER

Aaron Alvin Kiefer, 83, retired farmer of Hegins, died Friday at the home of his daughter-in-law and son, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kiefer, Hegins after a lingering illness.
Born in Helfenstein Eldred Twp. Oct. 28, 1869, he was a son of the late Martin and Lydia Otto Kiefer, and was a successful farmer in Hegins for many years, retiring five years ago when his sons, Ray and Charles took over the business. He was a member of Frieden's Reformed Church, Hegins.
He was married twice, his first wife, the former Jane Schaeffer died in 1922, and he is survived by his second wife, the former Laura Bohner; three children, by his first marriage Mrs. Harry Erb, Ray and charles, all of Hegins; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Kenneth Gessner, Shamokin.
Funeral Tuesday afternoon from A. R. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, with burail in Union cemetery Hegins. The Rev. Paul W. Yoh and Rev. C. E. Wilson will conduct services.
