James Davis “Bud” Callaway, age 58, of Little Rock, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer.

James Davis “Bud” Callaway, age 58, of Little Rock, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the owner of Call-A-Way Towing and Callaway’s Cars, both in Little Rock.

James is preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, James “Sonny” Callaway; his mother, Sarah Jane Callaway; and his sister, Gloria June Burns.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Callaway; one son, Coby Callaway; daughters, Larah Callaway of Alexander, Farah (Lee) Culpepper of Bryant, Lacy (Heather) Culpepper of Sherwood, Robert (Polina) Culpepper of Sherwood, and Rachel (Danny) Butler of Mabelvale; seven grandchildren, Cali, Sierra, Hunter, Lyndzee, Hannah, Cody, Jody and Luke Davis due Feb. 17, 2011; stepmother, Lois Callaway of Gurdon; niece, Paige (Eddie) Reese of Gurdon; nephew, Jason (Nikki) Burns of Gurdon. He is also survived by many other extended family members and a host of friends.

Son, Husband, Father and Friend, James loved life and was a friend to all who knew him. He will be missed forever and loved always. You’re Finally Home! Please join the family to celebrate James’s life.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.
Graveside funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, at South Fork Cemetery near Gurdon under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.
