August lived a very troubled life. He was born 23 October 1857 in Poland, the oldest Child of Johann Boanga and Antonina Reske. He immigrated in 1866 and settled in Chicago. He Married twice. 1st to Lucja Schornack [ also spelled Szornak ]. They married on 22 January 1880 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Chicago. After marriage, Both being only 22 yrs old, lived in an ajoining place to HER parents Andres [ Andrew ] Szornak and Antonina Rysk. August worked in soap factory. In 1881 they had their first child, Marguerite, then on August 28 1882, a son, John August was born. a month later, Marguerite died, and the following year, their first born son, John also passed. August was shot in May of 1891 by his own father in law. I have TWO small news articles, both taken from the Chicago Tribune, dated 11 May, and 12 May 1891, that state that August's father in law did not like him, there was a misunderstanding concerning his being at the home, to gather some clothes that his wife, thought she left there, while taking care of her ill mother, whom later died, and sent August over to retrieve them. argument ensued and August was shot in the left chest. August survived the surgery, and made it, the father in law ended up in Jail. August died in 21 October 1918 in Minnesota, but was buried at St. Adalbert's Cemetery in Niles Illinois Cook County. It seems that some of his children, Moved and settled in Minnesota, while his daughters, stayed in Chicago Illinois, so he traveled back and forth to visit and see them. August's mother and second wife, Maryanna died within two months of one another and August died three years later, on 21 October 1918, and buried at St. Adalbert's Cemetery in Niles Illinois, Cook County.

Father of [Lusia ] Eva, Amanda & Theresa., 1st husband to Lucia Schrnack, and after her death was 2nd husband of Maryanna Basemann, whom was widow to Frank Anton Bork.
