Rev. Gehret, known as Rev. T.D. Gehret, was born to Adam and Ida (Doney) Gehret. He married Beulah Lutz on November 27, 1919. She died in 1924 and he then married Esther Deppe.
Rev. Gehret entered the ministry, was licensed to preach in 1921 and ordained in 1925. He served churches in Harrisburg, Philadelphia (Calvary), Scranton, Easton, Blandon and Fleetwood. He also served as a District Superintendent for the Bethlehem District from 1945 to 1954 and for the Allentown District from 1962 to 1967. He was on many other boards and committees of our Conference and was also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Berean Bible School as well as of the Bible Fellowship Church Home. He died in Allentown Hospital.
