"Mrs. Moore"
"Funeral services for Margaret Weta Alexander Moore, 88, of Lampasas, were held Wednesday in Central Christian Church with the Rev. Rick Hinze officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore died Monday in an Irving hospital.
She was born March 21, 1900, in Burnet County and had lived in Burnet and Lampasas counties most of her life. She married Doyle O. Moore, Jan 1, 1922.
Mrs. Moore had been a member of Central Christian Church since 1911. She was a member of several church organizations and was a deaconess emeritus.
Survivors are one son, Lecil A. Moore Sr., and a daughter-in-law, Mary Tee Moore, of Irving; a sister, Annie L. Ramsay of Pebble Beach, Calif.; a granddaughter, Anna Lesa Moore Dodson, and a grandson-in-law, Larry Dodson, of Irving; a grandson, Lecil A. Moore Jr. of Irving; and a great-grandson, Daniel Garrett Dodson of Irving.
Pallbearers were Donald Alexander, Roy Spurlin, Derwood Wheeler, Chester Bagby, Jim Lowe and Kenneth Word. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Fowler, David Watson and Jack Montgomery.
Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements."
