WILLIAM CAPSHAW Age 87, passed away in Santa Fe, NM on December 1, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Capshaw and grandson, Alex Capshaw. William was born on February 15, 1923 in Tulsa, OK. He graduated from East Central State College Ada, OK. William retired from the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, where he was an Examiner and Supervisor. A proud Marine, William was a Veteran of WWII where he served at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked and later earned a Purple Heart in combat in the South Pacific. He is survived by his sons, Gary Capshaw and wife Amy of Frisco, TX and son, Rex Capshaw and wife Carol of Sterling, OK. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, December 11, 2010, 1 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery Chapel, 8700 Northwest Cache Road, Lawton, OK 73505, where he and his wife Vivian will be interred next to their grandson, Alex. Memorial contributions may be directed to Vista Care, Attn: Liz Graham, 1911 5th Street, Ste. 120, Santa Fe, NM 87505. Special thanks to Vista Care Hospice for their care during the final days of our beloved father.
