Franklin Dewey Rozell, 63, former resident of Kokomo, died in his home at Danville, Ill. at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday following a heart attack.
Born Oct. 17, 1898 in Wabash, Ind. he was the son of Isaac and Margaret (Levsay) Rozell.
He was employed as a machinist for the C and E Railroad in Danville from 1922 until his retirement in 1963. He is a former resident of Wabash and Peru.
In 1918 in Peru he was married to Elba Puterbaugh and she survives.
He was a member of the International Association of Machinists, the Anchor Masonic Lodge at Danville, and the Ansar Shrine of Springfield, Ill.
Surviving in addition to the widow are three sons, Robert V. of Los Angeles, Calif., Donald W. of Dearborn, Mich., and Eugene at Danville; a brother, Charles of LaFontaine, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Inez Umbarger and Mrs. Esther Baer, both of Kokomo, and Mrs. Margaret Copeland of Peru; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Edmund-Jones-Sullivan Funeral Home in Danville with the Rev. Paul Curry officiating. #Burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery there. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Friday.
