"Frances Jensen Allison Weaver, born in McPherson, Kan., on Sept 24, 1924, to John and Marn Allison, died on Jan. 25, 2004. Preceded in death by her hushand, John Louis Weaver, M.D.; her son, Christian Louis Weaver; and her sister, Mary Marn Allison. Survived by her children, Allison (Roger) Swift, Mary Weaver, Ross (Judy) Weaver and Matthew (Sherry) Weaver; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, Ascension Episcopal Church. Reception to follow at the Pueblo Country Club. In lieu of food and flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Frances Weaver Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office."
After the death of her husband, John, Frances went back to college to study creative writing. Frances has written for newspapers in Saratoga Springs, NY and Pueblo, Colorado as well as being on public television. She has traveled all over the world.
Frances was a daughter, mother, writer, lecturer and grandmother. She began writing for publication in the 1950's and has written a number of books. These are just a few of her of her published books.
