Nancy Katherine 1926-
A native of Tennessee she was the first librarian at Blue mountain Public Library and widow of Rev. John Logan McKinstry. She was a member of the Ripley Presbyterian Church and was active in the Women's Missionary Society of the Lowery Chapter Memorial Baptist Church. She was a member of the M P Lowery Chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy and the Blue Mountain Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Services will be at 10 am today at the Cleveland Street Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Gary Letchworth and the Rev. E. S. Hall officiating. United Funeral Service is in charge.
Survivors include a son, John R. McKinstry of Saudi Arabia, four daughters: Nancy, Mrs. David B. Ellis of New Albany, MS, Margaret, Mrs. Arthur Overholser of Memphis, TN., Mary Ann, Mrs. Willis of Panama City, FL., Martha ellen, Mrs. Edward Surber of Gadsden, AL., ; a sister, Mrs. Robert Miller of Nashville, TN.; 18 grandchildren and 13 great grand children.
