Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Waggoner Turner, age 87 of Clarks were held Wednesday, March 28th, 2 P.M. at the Chapel of Riser & Son with the Rev. Lloyd McCoy and Dr. W. M. Causey, Sr. officiating. Burial followed in the Welcome Home Cemetery under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mrs. Turner died March 26th at her residence after a brief illness.
Mrs. Turner was a member of Clarks Eastern Star, member of Clarks Baptist Church and life time resident of Caldwell Parish.
Survivors include her husband, G. C. Turner, Sr., Clarks; three daughters, Mrs. Novella Braddock, Monroe; Mrs. Ozella Harris, Ferriday; and Mrs. Nobey Davis, Winnsboro; one step-daughter, Mrs. Gennie Atchison, Monroe; one step-son, Mr. Carl Turner, Jr., Monroe. There were 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The grandsons were the pallbearers.
