Mrs. Adaline Dedrick died at the residence of Mr. J. L. Jones, 26 N. Main street, on Monday evening. Mrs. Dedrick was the mother of Mrs. J. L. Jones and was far advanced in years. She would have been eighty seven years old in next month. She was born in Herkimer county, New York, and came to Jefferson county, this state, in 1833. She had, since early womanhood, been a consistent Christian lady. She was one of the charter members of the first Presbyterian church at Jeffersonville. She was the mother of thirteen children, five of whom survive her. She had been sick during almost the whole of the past year. The remains were taken to Jeffersonville on Tuesday morning for interment.
