Correct directions to the Smith Upshaw Cemetery. For some reason whoever posted on the cemetery site had it off about one mile.

Latitude and Longitude info: 33.668610° / -85.009099°

Dianne, Thank you for helping us locate the cemetery. I was able to find it on aerial photographs and in Google Earth based on your directions. It is about one mile southeast of where the Find-A-Grave website has it located.
I have been looking all up and down the roads in the area for this, Thanks again for your help!

DIRECTIONS from Dianne Smith:
I received an email from a cousin asking for information about the Smith-Upshaw Cemetery located on South Hickory Level Road. I have been to the cemetery a number of times with my father and other relatives. It is located on what is now named South Hickory Level Road maybe a mile or two from the Hickory Level Store intersection. The cemetery is located on a rise (hill) in a pasture on the left side of the road if you are traveling south toward Carrollton and after you pass on the left a house and property previously owned by the Shackleford Family. Payne Lake Rd. is on the left after you pass the cemetery. There are three graves and headstones in the cemetery which had some metal gates propped around it to protect it from the cows. My great-great grandfather, John Smith (also known as "Hominy" John Smith), his wife Sallie (Sara), and their daughter Martha Smith Upshaw are buried there. Please let me know if I can provide you with an additional information.
Thanks,
Dianne Smith
