Albert Sidney Tugwell, a floor manager at Titche-Goettinger before retiring this spring due to ill heath, died Thursday morning at his home, 4912 Abbott.

Born near Brownsville, Tennessee, Tugwell was the youngest son of Rufus R. and Benana Finch Tugwell. He came to Dallas from Tennessee in 1898 and was employed with Titche-Goettinger when it was organized soon afterwards.

He moved to Amarillo in 1906 and made his home there until he returned to Dallas in 1918. Since then he was with Tiche-Goettinger eleven years before retiring. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Nell Ray Tugwell; two daughters; three sisters; and four grandchildren. Services will be Friday. Burial in Oakland Cemetery.

Albert, 42, signed a WWI draft registration card in Dallas September 12, 1918 giving his date of birth as September 26, 1875. Description: medium height, slender build, blue eyes, and dark brown hair. He and wife Nell were living at 4912 Abbott in Dallas. Albert was working as a floor manager for Sanger Brothers store located at the corner of Elm and Lamar streets in Dallas. Nell was named as his nearest relative. Signed: Albert Sidney Tugwell.
