Mr. Macaulay was born in Canada on March 20, 1914 and passed away in a Bakersfield hospital on April 2.
He moved to Taft 71 years ago. His family started a grocery store on "E" Street and later moved to S. 10th Street. Mr. Macaulay worked at the grocery store for 41 years until the store closed in 1970. After the store closed he worked for five years in the oil fields.
His survivors include his children, a brother, two sisters, his grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren.
The services are under the direction of the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
