Mrs. Sadie Ross, 80, former long-time Estherville resident, died at Minneapolis over the week end. Her body will be brought to Estherville for burial.
Formerly a teacher in the schools here, she was the wife of the late John Ross who operated a hardware store in Estherville. She was a member of the Methodist church, and very active in Eastern Star lodge, having been worthy matron at one time. She left Estherville several years ago following the death of her husband.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday a Sandin Funeral home, the Rev. John E. DeLong officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Members of Estherville Eastern Star lodge are requested to meet at the funeral home 10 minutes before services and attend the rites in a body.
