Mrs. Blanche Headley, widow of Nathan Headley, died Sunday at her home on Jackson Street, Reynoldsville, as the result of a stroke of paralysis.
The deceased was born in Jefferson County a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Davis and had spent practically her entire life in Reynoldsville. She was a member of the Baptist Church and an active worker in all of the societies connected with the church. A splendid mother, wife and daughter and a good neighbor, her death is sincerely mourned.
She is survived by two sons, Russell Headley, who taught in the Punxsutawney High School for five years, and who will teach this winter in the Willowgrove schools; and Edgar, supervisor of music of Jenkintown schools, about three miles from Willowgrove.
All arrangements had been made for Mrs. Headley to move to Jenkintown, where she was to keep house for the boys while they were teaching, but death intervened.
One brother, E.L. Davis, of Reynoldsville, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Davis, of Cleveland, OH also survive.
Funeral services will be held at the late home of the deceased beginning at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with interment in the Reynoldsville Cemetery .
