General Lee Marlow Dies in Hospital
General Lee Marlow, 71, died today at a local hospital. A native of Tennessee, he had made his home in Ventura for the past 10 months, residing at 856 E. Meta Street. Mr. Marlow’s father fought in the Civil was under Gen. Robert E. Lee.
Besides his widow, Bessie Marlow of Ventura, Mr. Marlow is survived by six sons, Carlos, William, Thomas, and Mac Marlow of Ventura; Benton and Hobson Marlow of Baxter, Tenn.; a daughter, Mrs May Jared of Baxter, Tenn.; and a brother William Marlow of Broken Bow, Okla.
The remains will be sent to Tennessee for burial. The Mayr funeral home is in charge.
