Louise Cathern Seifert, the daughter of Martin and Mary C. Jensen was born February 28, 1906 at Boone. She moved with her family to Forest City where she attended school. On April 6, 1929, she was married to Harold James Seifert at Britt. They lived in Britt all of their married life. She had worked at Leuwerke's at Crystal Lake, Goodrich & Bethke Produce in Garner, Selby's Produce and the S & S Cafe in Britt, Cashway Motor Homes in Mason City, Wilson's Cafe, the Hi-Way Cafe and Dummett's Bakery, all in Britt and at Forrest Motor Homes in Forest City. She retired in 1975. Do to ill health, she moved to Oakwood Care Center in Clear Lake, December 20,1991. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, TV and reading.

She is survived by four sons, Eugene Seifert and his wife, Eileen, of Crystal Lake, Charles Seifert and his wife, Nola, of Mason City, Kenneth Seifert and his wife, Rose, of Dayton, Ohio and Donald Seifert of Mason City; 15 grandchildren; many great grand- children; a brother, Peter C. Jensen and his wife, Evelyn, of Kansas City, MO and a sister, Elizabeth Crowell, of Midland, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold James Seifert, December 14, 1989; her parents; two brothers, Harold Jensen in 1965 and Raymond Jensen in 1970 and two sisters, Christine Andersen in 1990 and an infant sister.
