Funeral services for Narvel Lee Busby of Florien, were held Saturday, May 22, at Little Flock Baptist Church, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Lewis Skinner, Rev. E. E. Walker, and Rev. Howard Arnold officiating. Interment was at Little Flock Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

Mr. Busby died Thursday, May 20, at 8 p.m., at Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria. He was 71.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Temple Randolph Busby of Florien; a son, Kenneth Busby of Pineville; a daughter, Rita DeBose of Many; a brother, Monroe Busby of St. Louis, Mo.; five sisters, Claudia Miller of Many; Lovie Eaves of Leesville, Marie Nelson of Florien, Virginia Myers of Groves, Tex., and Reba Arnold of Jena, La.; five grandchildren, Robert Busby, Lisa Busby, Mike DeBose, Stacey DeBose, and Scott DeBose.
