COWPENS, SC:

L.B. Brown, 77, died December 3, 2010, at Regional Hospice Home. He was the son of the late Fred Brown and Sue Emma Rice Brown and was the last living member of his immediate family. He was a life-time resident of Cowpens where he enjoyed his many friends.

Mr. Brown retired from Best Machinery as a truck driver and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion of Gaffney, a member of the Korean War Veterans of Cowpens, a Mason and past Master of Cowpens Lodge #408, and served in various capacities of the Cowpens Lions Club, Chapter 304. He enjoyed auctions and was an avid supporter of his community.

Surviving are two sons, Danny Brown and Scott Brown both of Chesnee; a daughter, Kay Brown and husband, Mickey of Mayo; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Brown, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 6, at Bobo Funeral Chapel officiated by Dr. Rev. Bobby McFalls with burial following in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens.
