Mary Beth Attalla-Hamilton, age 49, of Pendergrass, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2010. She was born in Akron, OH on May 23, 1961, daughter of Theodore A. Attalla Jr. and Janice T. Attalla (Farris) of Oklahoma City, OK.

Mary Beth "Beth" or "Angel" (a life long diminutive used by our dear Sittee Florence) grew up in the loving arms of a very large and passionate Lebanese family to which she made a unique and significant contribution wherein her passing will leave a profound void.

As a woman of great beauty, power, and grace, she brought enormous enthusiasm, energy, humor, and joy to everything she pursued. She was unmatched in maintaining great, long lasting, and deeply loyal friendships. Truly "A force of nature," a term often considered cliché, was in her case, completely true. She had extraordinary zest for life, a wonderful sense of humor, and her laughter was absolutely infectious.

Prior to meeting her husband Mark Hamilton in Oklahoma and moving to Atlanta, GA over 20 years ago, she lived, went to school, and worked in Oklahoma City, having relocated here with her family from the Chicago area, where she had maintained numerous contacts, and friendships. As a talented entrepreneur and professional barber, stylist, and hair replacement specialist she was the owner of MB's Hair Salon in Buford, GA where she was a very successful and highly respected business woman.

Mary Beth is survived by her parents, husband Mark E. Hamilton of Pendergrass, GA, children Theodore "Teddy" Farris Hamilton of Pendergrass, GA, Heath Hamilton & Van Hamilton (grandchild) of Winston Salem, NC, Ashley Hamilton of Pendergrass, GA and brothers, Thomas S. Attalla & Rodney D. Seeman, Douglas M. Attalla, David B. Attalla & Hayley Attalla (Rogers), and Todd J. Attalla & Carrie Attalla (Merrill) all of Oklahoma City, OK. She is also survived by aunts & uncles, Mary Lou Stein (Farris) & R.G. Stein, Richard Attalla & Moira Attalla (White), and Patrice Schott (Attalla) all of Akron, OH and James Attalla & Linda Attalla (Withers) of Evergreen, CO, and nieces Jordan, Paige, Avery, Maci, Lilian, Kaylyn & nephew Eston, and 1st cousins Denise, Richie, Anthony, Lisa Ann, & Jaci, and a large extended family as well as innumerable very dear friends.

Visitation will take place at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, Bethany, OK on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
Funeral services will be conducted at ST. Mark's United Methodist Church, 8140 Northwest 36th St., Bethany, OK on Friday December 10, 2010 at 11:00am with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Oklahoma City.
